So, I've always been pretty Beta, last summer before I headed off to college I discovered TRP and have been lurking and trying some trp stuff in college. One thing I've been doing from the get go is lifting weights, over the year I have made decent gains, nothing too impressive but definitely noticeable when I'm wearing a fitted t-shirt or tank.

Since I got home from college, my Mom and Sister have made several comments about my muscle gain, none of them positive. Both of them have stated that they "aren't attracted to muscular men" and have even said "no girls like men that are too big". My mom said that lifting weights is "shallow" and "vain" and that I'm only doing it for the aesthetics.

I've been taken aback by this, I was expecting positive feedback from my family, and am really surprised by this. I can understand why a mans girlfriend wouldn't want her man to lift since it might increase his SMV enough for him to leave her, but I really don't understand why my own family is reacting in this way

TLDR: Mom and Sister are shaming me from becoming more muscular
