I was interested in some pagan stuff as a teen and young adult. Met a fair few nice female pagans. A fair percentage of the men are complete bin fires. Every meet up group, klatch, coven or whatever had groomers and fuck boys hanging around, usually playing "polyamory" or trying to interest us in "sex magic".

Yes definitely. I find that bdsm can but a hugely spiritual experience. Think about the protocols and structure around most bdsm relationships, its a ritual in its own. Not to mention the higher standards that are usually held. I will say on the same coin it can bring you down into a dark place if it isn't constructed or handled properly. Bdsm really makes you look deep into your shadow side and I find that to be a beautiful and spiritual experience, if you are ready to tap into that. Not only that but the trust and communication that needs to happen, so it allows you to find and heal the parts of you that you may not have known needed it. ❤

A lot of the witchcraft subs are rad/lib fem. I just want to read tarot cards and ooh at crystals and modern goth fashion. I wish they'd leave all that... Other stuff out of it.

Ik this is old but wanted to comment - there is literally “satanic warlock porn” on mainstream sites. I wish I were kidding. Pornography itself can be viewed as a form of witchcraft called “phallus worship.” When a man finishes on a woman’s face, it can be seen as a type of spell or curse designating his ownership of her. Maybe what we call “spells” and “curses” are actually just trauma bonds....but it’s also conceivable that trauma bonds themselves are actually a type of curse - initiated on the spiritual plane and causing the material affects of a dysregulated nervous system, for example. Not saying I believe it’s real, but just that these symbols resonate in our collective psyche for a reason. Equally fascinating as it is horrifying. This is a huge reason why I left the new age

Btw, Alastair Crowley condoned human sacrifice and said young boys are the best targets in terms of harvesting their life-force. He was a very, very sick individual, to say the least
