Feminists do disagree with each other too.

I've seen some say periods aren't any big deal so you shouldn't treat differently, and others say we should get a day or two off work for each period.

Some want to ban porn, others want to legalize prostitution.

Some are transgendered people exclusionary, some are not.... etc etc

The problem is also that they just refuse to clean up their own movement. Yeah, It's one thing to pay lip service to the idea that your movement doesn't have hateful bigots in it but when you do nothing to remove those people from it, it's hard to believe what you say.

And the other thing is a lot of times they refuse to admit their are any hateful bigots within feminism which is blatantly not true. MenAreTrash doesn't trend worldwide if their are no bigots in your movement.

Meh, that's not true. There are certainly different forms of feminism, they just don't differ all that much. Very similar to when talking about Islam/Christianity. Are there different sects within those religions? Sure. However they agree on 99% of their beliefs, it's that 1% of difference that makes them want to kill each other.

For Example: Most feminists don't like TERFs. Not because they hate men, but because they hate trans people(among other things). No mention of man hate or patriarchal theory from feminists when talking about TERF's because they agree on that part. Woo! What a difference!

I wish people would just stick to policy. This woke bullshit is just tiring.

Well that's not entirely true.

Radfems and libfems have a completely different idea on how to fix things.

Radfems (which doesn't mean radicalized feminism... It's a legit branch of feminism) believes that patriarchy is too deeply entrenched in society and that we need to burn society to the ground and start anew from the ashes with true equality.

Libfems believe that we can work in the current system and enact equality through legislation.

the cleanest definition of feminist is one who subscribes to male oppressor / female oppressed worldview, and believes that this needs to corrected

on that level they are all constant, but there are still variations even among people who subscribe to this. however those differences are fairly trivial. as long as people are pushing that worldview men will continue be shunted and ignored

Not all distinctions lack a difference. CH Sommers calls herself a feminist; so does Laura Bates. Treating these two as if they were remotely philosophically or morally similar, though, is perfect codswallop.

There are different kinds of feminists because there are different branches and those branches don't always agree, but the core of feminism, which I think you're referring to, is feminist theory. The only group of self-identified feminists which doesn't support feminist theory is equity feminism, headed by Christina Hoff Sommers, and for that reason, they've actually been disowned by all other branches. That and feminist theory itself defines feminism differently. So there's no way to argue it's just "do you believe men and women should be equal?". That's provably false. Even fucking Stanford University disagrees.

My wife is a self-described feminist and is extremely egalitarian and anti the gender revenge politics side of feminism.

ALL feminism (apart from equity feminism, which isnt considered feminism by most feminsits though) is a problem. Yes they are very diverses and intensely argue with eachother and even boycott eachother etc... however, they are all predicated no patriarchy theory.... as such ALL feminism is problematic. Believing in patraichy theory shapes everything they do and explains their sexist positions e.g. their simulatenous support for female quoatas but specifcally not male ones e.g. in nursing and thouasnds more examples
