In Captain Marvel, in a deleted scene, a biker approaches the titular protagonist and acts creepy and rude. In response, Captain Marvel threatens to break his arm, unless he gives her the keys to his bike. The point of the scene is to be polite to women, but ends up feeling like abuse of power by the police.

In Wondermark strip 1062, two characters are engaging in overgeneralised comments about sea lions. Then, a sea lion who overheard them appears and asks them why they are so prejudiced about sea lions, though he's excessively insistent. The strip is meant as an allegory about male gamers inconveniencing female public figures on twitter, but instead reads as two privileged white dudes being offended that racial minorities are calling them out on their racism.

In Crazy, Stupid, Love, the protagonist becomes a PUA after meeting a PUA in a bar, after he is divorced and cucked by his wife. He then proceeds to use his newly acquired skills to sleep with several women. Meanwhile the man his ex wife attempted to monkey branch to isn't all he's made out to be. Later, she discovers the protagonist's achievements, and we're meant to believe he's an evil, deceitful person who cucked his wife. In actuality it reads as a woman who did everything in her power to destroy her family and is surprised the men she betrayed are better off without her toxicity there.

Probably accidental, but Mad Max: Fury Road ends up reading as Toxic Masculinity: The Movie. The female slaves are presented as uniquely victimised by the Patriarchy, for they have been stripped of their freedoms and are forced to copulate with the Leader of the Patriarchy; it's not-so-subtly implied that a female, perhaps politically lesbianic rule would result in a more equitable society. On more careful inspection, the female slaves are the most privileged characters in the entire film: they are in perfect health, suffer no malnourishment or chronic dehydration, have access to science and art, and they never have to engage in combat, raids, or other disagreeable activities.

In Grimm, Adalind uses a spell to make herself temporarily transform to look exactly like Nick's girlfriend, Juliette. She breaks into his house, puts on Juliette's lingerie, and uses this opportunity to seduce Nick when he gets home. Nick consents, thinking it's his girlfriend and not his rival enemy. The spell she casts requires that he has to have sex with her in order for her to curse him. So, afterwards Nick ends up cursed and Adalind escapes.

When Nick and Juliette figure out what Adalind did, Juliette proceeds to blame Nick for what happened. He tries to explain that he didn't cheat on her, he believed it was Juliette, but she was furious at him for "not knowing". No one has any sympathy for the fact Nick was tricked into having sex with someone he hates.

Then when it turns out Adalind is pregnant from this encounter, Juliette and all of Nick's friends shame him into going to the hospital to be there for Adalind while she gives birth. Eventually, Juliette and Nick break-up, and Nick and Adalind become a couple. There are no consequences for what Adalind did, no discussion of consent, and certainly no implication that what she did was rape. Instead she has an incredibly power and gifted baby. Nick and Adalind proceed to move in together and raise their child happily ever after.

Pity I don't remember the name of the film. It was about a girl giving consent to a boy to take revenge on another boy, but revoking it when she thought that revenge no longer necessary. The moral should be 'girls have the right to revoke consent whenever they want' and some of my feminist friends shared links about that, while I think that girl was emotionally abusing that boy. You can revoke consent when something doesn't work out, but doing it just like that is totally unempathic.

In Big Mouth

The show is a sexually explicit depiction by an adult of the sexuality of children and teens, targeted at adults. What did you expect? I mean, it couldn't have "pedophile" written in bigger letter on it. That isn't exactly a place I would look for anything worth watching.

Wowww, the situation of Big mouth episode is really awful. I haven't thought about the Gravity Falls one, but I agree.
