I had something similar happen to me in college, though not so sweet. I sat on the bus and this ~25 yo girl turns and starts talking to me out of the blue. You could tell right away something was off, between the speech patterns and where she looked.

But then I realized hey, she's just being friendly. I'm the one who's uncomfortable and I'm blaming her for my reaction.

So we had a nice chat and I've been more open ever since.
