Although I agree with the premise of this article that MtF transgender athletes, especially MMA fighters, have an unfair advantage against biological female opponents, I really resent the reasoning used here.

According to the Australian feminist advocate, this is another example of male violence against women.

“This is male violence against women. It is sanctioned, and celebrated, and monetised.”

I fail to see how see how this issue can be rebranded as violence against women.

It is grasping at straws, if that, to suggest that this is another example of men oppressing women.

Would she also use the same argument against FtM transgender athletes, models, tradespeople, or even MtF’s who wish to be father by their kids, as an example of women female violence against men?

Obviously not.

I think if you have to rely on such preposterous arguments to prove you are still gender victims, then perhaps it means that you have finally reached equality, but now you want more.
