I am, and I have nothing to compare it to and so cannot comment on that.

I am not a strong anti-circumsision person due to my experience, I oppose it from two different angles: it is an irreversable religious practice, and the lack of respect for bodily autonomy.

Both disrespect the rights of the child, one from a religious angle, the other from a bodily autonomy angle.

Yes, I consider it to be more horrific than child rape, which it is also (sadistic child sexual abuse). When I was pressured to testify against the man who molested me when I was 8, I demanded that I would only on the condition the man on the stand was the man that mutilated me first. I was able to heal from the psychological wounds of being molested (mostly with disassociation) but the wound on my body was torturous, and took much more emotional pain, time and effort to heal. 20 years of painful urination, and disruptive daily triggering whenever I had to urinate left one of my alters pulling the plug on himself, and being incredibly and persistently disruptive to my functioning.

I remember as a kid thinking I was born deformed and disgusting when I saw in biology lessons what a normal man looked like and over the years of thinking about that and the shame it brought during my teenage years.

Turns out I wasn't born deformed, just mutilated a year later for an incorrect diagnosis, yay.

Wish I wasn’t knowing I’d enjoy sex more, but it is what it is. There are places which can reattach it (presumably by making a skin graft and then surgically attaching it), such as Foregen, but I don’t have the means to do it for the time being.

I'm circumcised. I wish I had the choice to do it, even though after handling possibly a hundred thousand penises, in very sure I'd get nice trimmed any way.

The choice is important though.

i’m not a religious person but had mine done for religious reasons when i was very little and really don’t mind it. in fact i and all the women i have talked to about it find it more aesthetically pleasing when it’s cut.
