This bullshit of not responding to texts is fucking autistic. I get that guys shouldn't be on her fucking short list but when you have her fucking attention you pounce on that.

Her response changes throughout her cycle. If she's looking for you, she's probably ready to go. If you wait, you miss that opening.

When she asked what's going on, why didn't you respond and set a meet up? If she hit you back right away, and you were like "just chilling, what about you?" And she's all like "nothing just waiting TV, blah blah." You could have been all like "you should come by and watch TV over here, blah blah."

There are only 4 reasons to not text:

1) you are actually busy. I usually text that I'm busy when this happens

2) I consider the conversation over.

3) what she said/worries about is dumb and unworthy of attention.

4) soft/hard nexts.

If you were free, you should have responded with: "Great, but it would be more fun if you were having a drink with me." Boom.

Text only a little to build a level of rapport and interest/attraction when you don't already know a girl (that's how Tinder and all that stuff works) and then schedule a date.

Rule 1: Be attractive.
Rule 2: Don't be unattractive.
Rule 3: Don't come across as needy/creepy/beta.
Rule 4: Don't be too available. Texting too much or too frequently can lower your SMV (think: supply and demand). Let them wonder about you and even miss you.
Rule 5: Don't ignore the girl too long, especially in the beginning. Unless you're Brad-Fucking-Pitt (99% of guys aren't), waiting days to respond is self-defeating.
Rule 6: Be funny/interesting, but don't try too hard. Subtlety is key. You should have an interesting life, so this shouldn't be too difficult. If not, change your life.
Rule 7: Don't beat it around the bush. Texting is mostly for scheduling a meeting. Be specific and ask the girl to get together (e.g. "I want to go to this new brewery this week. You should come. When are you free?"). Bonus points if it's a specific time and place so that the girl has to make a decision.
Rule 8: Proof read your texts.
Rule 9: If you're flirting and have a decent body, some girls like to get pics. I've had women invite me over after seeing a pic of my backside. Instagram filters can really help make a decent pic. But you have to read the cues to judge if it's okay. Never send a dick pic (unless they are begging you for one).
Rule 10: If you ask out a girl and she avoids it, soft next her until she reaches out again. Then ask her to meet up again. If she doesn't agree to a meetup after the second time, erase her number.

It shouldn't even be a conscious thing. What I do is just go on about my day and not prioritizing girls texts. Because I know it's never about the content anyway. You will be messaging about bullshit all throughout with some flirting inbetween.

The whole interaction is about her looking for the most efficient way to keep you around as an option. It's about finding out what type of guy you are. If you just do your shit and prioritize everything else, work, hobbies, friends, eating, walking your dog. And when that's all done you text her, she will get the message.

What I did in the beginning with the current girl I'm seeing is that I texted her every 3-4 days and flirted lightly conversations were an hour max. I did that because after our 1st date she went on vacation. We have a 7th date scheduled in a few days.

Basically I just text her once a week to make plans. Don't know if that helps, I'm pretty new to trp so I'm just seeing this one girl currently and sex 1-2 times per week is enough for me and I can still spend more time doing my own shit.
