The feminist movement was known to have begun around the 1840s. These things did not happen overnight or as a result of just few years of protests. Do not dismiss what generations of women have struggled and protested for, to have the same rights as men and protection from men who abuse them. Now that women have them, they're mad and believe it's unfair. If they want it so bad then men should start their own movement and quit blaming women fighting for their own rights and protection, for their unresolved issues. Nothing but the stigma that the majority of your OWN gender population has created for generations of "sucking it up like a mAn," is preventing you from establishing your own movement. The feminist movement started out as something that will allow us to have the SAME rights as men do, and now, protection from violence against MEN. No one ever said men's issues were invalid or are of less importance than women's. These women are simply fighting for the safety of other women. If men want to start a movement to fight for their own rights and safety from women who assault/harass them, then they SHOULD 1000%. They can start their own movement without attempting to undo the movement generations of women have fought for. Doing so would just be a terrible attempt to divert the focus away from women's concerns into their own. Only THEY are in a position to speak about the difficulties that THEIR gender experiences. No one else understands their suffering as well as they do. And as males in a society where women are ALSO battling for their own rights and protection, it is their OWN responsibility to advocate for a solutions to THEIR issues they believe are not being addressed adequately. Granted, it won't be an easy task since there will always be some people who are hesitant at first, but if they continue to fight for their rights and safety, as women have for years, it will certainly not be in vain. As I've said, these things do not happen overnight. And as a person who know how women faced similar hardships, when the feminist movement was something frowned upon and seen as something that was not of importance in the past, we know what it's like to not be heard and invalidated, so we will try our best within our power to support men. Just as long as they don't attempt to undo what women have started and built. The first step is something THEY should take on their own.

Stop generalizing all feminists with "feminists" who use the movement for their own personal gain. That is not the true essence of feminist and what it was built for. Start a movement that advocates men's rights and safety WITHOUT abolishing what the other gender has fought for for generations. True feminists will have your back. Together, hand-in-hand, without invalidating the other, we can achieve gender equality.

I'm not anti-MRM, I'm all for supporting men's rights to be heard and their safety too. But I don't believe in having to abolish/strongly hate another movement in order for one to flourish.

Edit; I've read the comments. Interesting. I appreciate your insights and keep 'em coming lol
