I think more blue pillers attack TRP by claiming that it is false. I want to try to make a claim that TRP while true is mostly filled with ideas that are unhealthy if used.

  1. When treating a disease it is important we treat the root cause, not the symptom. TRP's solutions are a crutch and prevent nice guys from actually doing the hard work of growing. There is a difference between growing a backbone, maintaining frame naturally, refusing to capitulate to a unreasonable demand/shit test AND doing the same action for the sake of maintaining her attraction to you. I need to place appropriate boundaries and feel uncomfortable with her request and refuse her because of my self-esteem, I should not artificially act like a healthy person would and inside remain the kind of person who would instinctively acquiesce to her demands.
  2. TRP claims over time once I realize that these boundaries don't cause her to reject me, I will grow comfortable being assertive. But I think it is likely that people will turn into actual jerks/assholes when they go down this route and realize just how orthogonal niceness is to attraction. In fact changing core aspects of yourself for the sake of attracting someone will hurt your self-esteem. This is revolutionary idea - going to gym and doing the same amount of exercise for the sake of health or for yourself is actually widely different from doing the exact same thing for someone else. The whole idea of having a backbone, being confident and loving yourself contradicts you changing yourself for others. It is true that you will attract more girls if you do x, y, z but you should not affect that change primarily for that reason. These things will stick with you and effect your personality, your relationship with her, and prevent you from growing in a positive way. So my advice is use it as additional motivation but make sure you reframe the reason why you grow separate from girls. TRP does do this in many places by "disregard females" memes but at the core it attracts people who want girls and I don't think people realize this clearly. We don't need to demean girls in order to stop deriving motivation from them.
  3. There is a famous quandary in ethics - do the ends justify the means? Lots of trp guys believe in teleological ethics where only the ends really matter while blue pill people cling on to rules or principles in a deontological way. Again people who use trp are focused on the end goal of getting laid or into a relationship, or even ensuring your partner finds you sexually attractive. This focus on the ends blinds them to the side effects of the means used. When we are aware of and utilize these ideas in our relationship, we might win but at what cost?
  4. Consider how you frame the relationship as a zero-sum game, it makes it hard to respect all women which include your partner, you see her as replaceable, you grow paranoid about if she really loves "you" or just your looks, money, status, etc. This process where you separate all aspects of you from "the real you" and think women are using you because they don't love the real you is self-defeating. Even if women are just animals like us, even if your partner is actually not that special objectively, these truths are harmful to believe because in order to nurture love we need to delude ourselves. I think most trp guys don't realize the consequences of the means they choose. This framework is powerful and true but it has the consequence where you will struggle to see women as autonomous entities with free will that you respect, you can't spend months treating her like a subject to be manipulated and then stop, this will color the whole length of your relationship with her and every girl after her.
  5. There is a famous quote you all must know, the actual meaning he meant is slightly different...

"He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you." - Nietzsche

I see this happening when feminism fought patriarchy when trp fights feminism. All these ideologies seem to turn into the very thing it hates, maybe because of desperation? But anyway my point is that people seem to assume there are rigid boundaries inside our heads and that we can interact with ideas in a one way fashion where we analyze or observe it and choose how it affects us. When we play games, talk to people, spend time with them, observe them, watch movies, consume art, read books, it affects us in ways that we cannot recognize. The abyss is not a passive thing, willing to be studied, no it can stare back into you, affect you. All ideas are like this, these boundaries are leaky and it is arrogance to assume that you can ignore the toxic parts of trp and pick the "self improvement" bits. They seek and leak through these boundaries and become part of you.

So I think that TRP is largely filled with uncomfortable truths that if disseminated to the wider public will ruin gender relationships further and poison the well.
