It's a statistical fact that men are far more likely to be victims of serious violence or murder, yet not even close to the same sort of support, resourcing or money is injected into tackling that by authorities. It's statistical fact that men are more like to suffer from severe mental health issues, from depression, are far more likely to be victims of suicide, sufferer from lower educational attainment, still have to work long and retire older, while also dying younger (and more men than women are born, yet there are more women in the world, so go figure). Men are also still expected to do society's most dangerous jobs and perform most of societies toughest, their interests and safety are still put behind that of women and child as a general rule. Female victimhood mentality, aside from being absolute indoctrination of the highest level, is also holding women back. It's toxic. You do also realise that research shows that men are only slightly less likely to be victim of domestic assault that women, yes? The difference being women tend to use mental and emotional abuse far more than physical (although that is common too) and men are far less likely to report it, not least because they know that if they do, there's little to no help or support for them. You seem to only believe that women's lives and wellbeing matters, and that is the core, toxic problem with modern feminism. The real feminists of the 20th who actually achieve equality for women would be shamed by what feminism has become, and if you knew the actual history of feminism, you'd understand that.

This entire post is a waste of time, and if the armchair advocates on this subreddit decided to direct their time and energy towards thoroughly researching (and understanding) the 2021 Federal Budget instead of encouraging citizens from other countries to brigade our government, they’d see that’s it’s gender-neutral and inclusive of male victims of domestic and family violence.

Ordering more research is going to bring back the same results now, and future research is going to focus heavily on helping young boys, as they are generally the one’s killed.

Most states already have gender neutral laws, or are trending that way, as all legislation/education in the government has to be gender neutral and requires statement examples such as “person using violence” and “person experiencing violence” (PUV and PEV). So all of this brigading is for nothing – it's already gender neutral and has been for a while and has nothing to do with propogandists.

But the Australian figures for domestic violence homicides are published in detail by Domestic Violence Awareness Australia, with details of every single death. Feminists shriek that the numbers of male & female deaths can't possibly be that similar, but they can't point to any errors in the data.

Also very inconvenient for the feminist narrative is the fact that the highest rates of domestic violence are in lesbian relationships, while the lowest rates of violence are in gay male relationships. Hmmm.

Adoption of PC language is a start, but it doesn't change the facts on the ground. In most states there are no helplines for male victims to call. The most egregious services pretend to help men in order to qualify for funding, but in fact, they assume every male caller is a perpetrator, never a victim. In most cities there are no shelters for male victims older than 12. Feminists have a stranglehold on the DV industry and they only allow funding to go to organisations run on feminist, anti-male (a tautology, I know) principles.

Look at all the lies this feminist has told above and realise that's entirely normal behaviour for feminists. This is why we have the Iron Law of feminism:

Domestic Violence Awareness Australia (DVAA) is a non-official website that isn’t recognised by the National government. It’s ran by anti-feminists who are spreading MRA ideologue by citing grossly misrepresented figures based on misleading studies that have been denounced by the NSVRC for their poor measurement of domestic and family violence.

In fact, your own DVAA cites statistics from the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare report here, which is where my figures are from. This is a perfect example of the men’s rights community and their selective agenda. Rely on National statistics when it suits you, and a bunch of pseudoscience when it doesn’t.

Again, I’ll provide you with the most factually accurate statistics to date:

Over the 4-year period, 4 in 5 (80%, or 121) of the reviewed domestic violence homicides were perpetrated by a male against a female. Almost 1 in 5 (18%, or 28) of the homicides involved a female killing a current or previous male partner, and the rest were perpetrated by men against men. Of the 121 reviewed homicides where a male killed their female partner, the male was the primary abuser in 93% (112) cases. Of the 28 reviewed homicides where a female killed their male partner, the female was identified as the primary abuser in 2 cases

This means that 116 out of 121 cases of domestic homicide against men, women were acting in self-defence. You can see the full table on page 52 of the full Australia Health and Welfare report here.

There are 152 interpersonal violence homicides in the table outlined. Out of all 152 IPV homicides, 121 consisted of a male killing a female, 28 consisted of a female killing a male, and 3 consisted of a male killing a male.

The ABS Recorded Crime—Victims collection includes information on homicides and related offences (including murder, attempted murder and manslaughter). Data are derived from police records and compiled according to the National Crime Recording Standard to maximise consistency between states and territories (ABS 2018b). This report uses the ABS Recorded Crime data for 2017 to present further information on homicides and attempted homicides to complement the prevalence data.

When feminist organisations publish figures for DV homicides, careful scrutiny reveals all sorts of dishonesty used to inflate the number of female deaths: overseas deaths included in Australian numbers, unrelated deaths like car crashes counted as DV and even male deaths recorded as female deaths.

We simply cannot trust feminists to be honest with the numbers. That's why DVAA publishes the details of every single death included in their count with an open invitation for scrutiny. If you think their figures are wrong, you can go provide details of any death they've omitted or explain why any death has been wrongly included.
