So recently I’m facing a challenge on a legal issue. I used to work for a medical company here in New Mexico. Both me and now xwife worked at the same place which I felt wasn’t a good idea. Well this one day at work I was scanning employees for covid. As I was leaving to go back to my department I noticed my xwife flying down the road because she running late. So I go back to my post to scan her and ask the necessary questions. She was very reluctant to even speak to me. After she passed the scanning I was about to ask her about what’s going on with our marriage. I had not seen her at work or heard anything from her. I didn’t know I was to close to her car and when she drove away, I turned to my right to walk away and my left foot got ran over by her back tire. It stunned me to the point I fell to my knees and dropped my equipment. She stopped briefly only to ask what happened? I told her you ran over my foot! In which she replied oh okay and drove away without a care. Well I was able to get to my feet but only to met by one of the guards that worked there and asked what happened? I was informed that the warden wanted to speak to me. From that point on the rudeness from the warden was at a all time high. He was protecting my xwife and what other lies she was spewing. Although he made a strange comment which let piece things together… I’m tired of you and your wife martial problems. I said wait what problems??Which let me knows she’s been going to him … that shoulder to so called cry on.. anyway I was then approached by 3 officers that took the report and asked was she in the wrong? I honestly said yes but it was under my negligence I was that close. Anyway to sum it up I was let go and also given divorce papers on the same day. I get New Mexico is a at will state but what happened to me is beyond wrong on so many levels. I’ve gone to 2 attorneys that won’t touch it. So I’m left thinking now what do I do ? Should I use social media to shed light on this to get compensated for what they put me through or just say oh well and walk away? I don’t know what to do about it now. And for the record both my xwife and the warden both work for the state, and at the time I was working for the medical company. It was a temporary position but was told I had job security because of covid so there wasn’t any expected time the job would be over.
