Why does it not surprise me that the groom is an obese slob? Yes, this is fratty and it was a power play against his bride. She even facepalmed with both hands out of embarrassment. Instead she was trying to laugh it off but her body language (looking down, stiff arms) demonstrates sadness and insecurity.

Ideally, what the strong woman does in this situation is walk away in that moment and end the event. I hope she hasn't signed any papers yet. The bride is lovely and deserves someone on her level.

Excuse me, "yeah, I do"? Yeah? Not, you know, "yes, I do"? Poor woman's in for a lifetime of hurt with that scrote. That's the same resigned "yeah" you hear in "yeah, honey, I'll take out the trash after the game" after reminding him for two days.
