Guy seemed like a HVM, wanted to pursue me, but then goes on vacation and returns more distant. How should we handle these situations?

He's clearly not interested. Best to block him and delete his number, he's just going to waste your time when he needs some validation. Not much else you to do in this situation.

I liked the guy and everything seemed HV at first. He was pursuing dates and paying and seemed clear on his intentions. He was respectful and seemed mature and able to provide. He said he wanted to get together to celebrate a small work achievement after he returned from a vacation. Once he returned, he was more distant. I waited for him to make plans to celebrate but nothing happened after a few days upon his return. I was feeling anxious so I just wanted to cut to the chase, and I’m glad I did because he was totally stringing me along even though he clearly had zero intentions of meeting again. I’m not sure if I handled the situation correctly, any feedback?

I have a friend who went on vacation and realized she didn't miss her partner while she was away and didn't want to waste his time. Maybe thats what happened?

Block, delete, forget second chances is how I would handle it.
