Having women be equally eligible and equally register doesn’t mean we are about to reinstate a draft. There is no push to reinstate the draft. That’s not the issue.

One could argue drafting men or women into war is a sign society isn’t going well. That’s not the issue though. The issue is with equal opportunity comes equal responsibility.

Continuing to exempt women is discriminatory and as a judge ruled unconstitutional. I have no respect for politicians who wish to promote discrimination and defy a constitutional ruling.

There are not only soldiers in the army. There is lots of support staff. A majority of the military doctors are women for example. I assume that these conservative's main problem is turning women into soldiers. And because of that I think the argument is invalid.

Conversely, feminists say 'a woman can do anything a man can do.' Based on that, feminists have no argument against conscription of women.

Draft only feminists. Any woman who wants to register for selective service should be allowed to, and only they should be drafted when necessary. Any woman who doesn't wish to be drafted should skip the registration.

Why does this have to be made more complicated than it is?
