Question:
When I start paying ex child support, other than the obvious (both of us paying shared expenses), anyone have suggestions on how to split "shared" expenses, such as medical, sports, clothing, activities, etc.?
Details:
> For the first time after 8 years of divorce, my ex is wanting child support.
> I make about $130k, they make $100k, which is plenty to raise a family, but whatever, they want it. I am legally obligated to pay it.
> Split legal and physical custody (50/50%)
> We have been splitting mutual expenses 60/40 for the past few months now ( I make more than her)
> If there is something I want to do but ex doesn't, I just pay for it (ex: I am paying $300/mo for my teenage daughter's personal trainer)
