I really like LTRs. I don't have problems attracting women and spinning plates but I would just rather have a hot, steady girlfriend that I get along with and can plan a future with.

Ever since I discovered the TRP about 2 years ago I made changes. I started working out, really focusing on improving myself (hobbies, career-wise) rather than just sitting there and waiting for it like most people do. I cut out people out of my life that wouldn't let me progress - "you're going to the gym now, haha come on dude that shit is so lame, let's go have a beer at Jimmy's instead!" As soon as you start improving and people notice, they (probably subconsciously) want to drag you back down to their level.

I'm 30 now and I'm in the greatest shape that I have ever been in my entire life. I gained a good 20 lbs of muscle and it's just amazing how people treat you differently based on how you look alone. Guys respect more, girls are more responsive to you, etc. This results in this positive feedback loop where you get confidence and you don't question everything you're doing (based on social norms, etc.) like I used to. And that gives you even more confidence and allows to break those social norms without being chastised for it (e.g., if alpha violates social norms, it's okay, but if it's a beta, it's not allowed). And it's really just this unstoppable force where you feel good about everything you do. Ever since my improvements, for the first time in my life, I actually feel like a man.

Lifewise, I've got my shit down. I have good career prospects, I'm in great shape, I have been doing some BJJ at a local MMA gym. I follow the TRP teachings and girls ask for commitment as long as I have the "unavailable cool guy" game up.

But I have a problem. After 1-3 months of going exclusive, I gradually turn beta and it turns them off. I stop playing them, spend a lot of time with them, cut off contact with friends and girls, start buying them shit, etc. TRP got me into the habit of taking responsibility and taking care of my shit. I am responsible for my own finances, my own health, my own success. This militant approach carries over to my relationship too. I know when we're doing this, I know when we're doing that. I know when her appointments to the dentist are. I know what she's doing next week and I adjust my schedule accordingly. My mind also plays tricks on me when I go into a LTR. Every time I find the girl who I think is the unicorn, I fall "in love," stop going to TRP and try to keep her in blue-pill ways because my mind is overcome by these chemicals that just make me want to be with her. Eventually they lose respect for me. I met up with my last ex after we broke up and she said, "You're too easy. I actually really like you but you care too much."

This is the third time this has happened to me. I'm still in shape, still got the job, still constantly working on improving myself. But now I have to start all over again in terms of finding plates, spinning them, finding the one I'd want a LTR with, and probably inevitably turning beta again and starting all over.

How do I break this cycle?
