Feminist protesting there are 17 missing women and gender violence this last year but make no mention of nearly double number of men also missing. Also this morning two women turned up. One was dead and the other, her lesbian partner confessed to the killing. Missing men don't count.

  • What happened instead was that the mother's friend brought the toddler to the doorstep of the wrong home, and left him there.

  • The child is now in the custody of Child Protective Services, which will determine whether to return him to his family. The boy's mother was in the hospital, the lieutenant said, which is why she did not know the friend left her son at the wrong home.

  • CBS Dallas-Fort Worth reports police do know who the woman is, but have not publicly released her name.

  • "Looks like we have the charge of child abandonment... That is a felony charge," Spencer said.

So they are not releasing her name like they do are all other crimes, it seems unlikely that she will be charged with anything, much less a felony.

If you read the article the mom was in the hospital

Das literally knew the kid was coming. He chose to assume nothing was wrong. If moms in the hospital it was probably an emergency. Wtf do you want her to do?

[–]BeanBodhi 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

So you want her in the middle of whatever emergency (so possibly her injured) to do all the work? 😂 wow

And the father could have as well! And yet you want to only blame the mother. How typical.

[–]BeanBodhi 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

It’s really not that easy. If the kid was already with the friend it’s between the friend and the father. Y’all really just want to try and absolve men of all responsibility when he should have taken responsibility

[–]RadiantWarriorOfUrka 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

what does the actions of one woman have to do with men's rights?

[–]BeanBodhi 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It doesn’t the poster of this just wants to throw blame on women and refuses to acknowledge that the father of the child was notified that his child was going to be dropped off because the mother was in the hospital

[+]EnvironmentalWar4627 -10 points-9 points-8 points 4 years ago (37 children) | Copy Link

What does this have to do with mens rights? These 'look women doing bad things posts' are getting tiresome.

Does a man doing something bad say ANYTHING about men as a whole? No.

[–]chankletavoladora[S] 18 points19 points20 points 4 years ago (24 children) | Copy Link

Did you see the video? That’s a man that doesn’t have custody of his child meanwhile this is how they treat his child. But it’s funny you ask that question as if MEN AS A FUCKING WHOLE are treated as rapists because of rapists.

[+]EnvironmentalWar4627 -6 points-5 points-4 points 4 years ago (23 children) | Copy Link

Yes, this woman is stupid. But what does it have to do with mens rights? Is every stupid action committed by a woman a mens rights issue? Obviously not. Does this woman's actions have anything to do with women in general? Obviously not. This is one stupid woman doing something stupid so how does it have any relation to mens rights?

[–]chankletavoladora[S] 13 points14 points15 points 4 years ago (19 children) | Copy Link

The whole news article is focused on the woman. But what is important to me is the reaction of a man that wants to be part of his child’s life, by sheer luck didn’t lose his child but still doesn’t have custody of that child. If you don’t get why that is a mens right issue without someone explaining it the fuck out for you probably the one in the wrong sub is you. Personally appalled about this guys situation as a father. But no one comes to rally for his rights of fatherhood only that the mother was in the hospital yada yada. A man that did that would be in jail right after he gets out of the hospital. This guy is left as an afterthought while the mother and best friend treat his kid like a grocery bag and commenting “tee hee woopsie”. But in your opinion that has nothing to do with mens rights? Dude…

[–]BeanBodhi 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Why would he get custody of the kid after not showing up to pick up his kid. After not being worried about the whereabouts of his kid when the mother was in the hospital

[–]EnvironmentalWar4627 -5 points-4 points-3 points 4 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

The article didn't say whether or not the father even wanted custody. Perhaps he would have had a paper abortion if he had the option.

And you think a man who's friend leaves a child at a wrong home would be in jail? Really?

[–]EmirikolWoker 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

And you think a man who's friend leaves a child at a wrong home would be in jail? Really?

Lets be clear: are you saying that's exactly what this user believes, or is this just an innocent, good faith, "unnecessarily loaded" question? If so, what is it loaded with?

[–]EnvironmentalWar4627 -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

He specifically said that a man would he arrested in this scenario I just reiterated it to see if he realized how wrong he was when it was repeated.

[–]EmirikolWoker 12 points13 points14 points 4 years ago* (4 children) | Copy Link

OK. So that's the "that's exactly what this user believes" answer. Which means you know how a question can carry a statement that can be true or a lie.

So when you have described criticism of looser laws that disproportionatly imprison men while not covering women offenders as wanting to make abuse legal, called anger about false rape allegations "defending real rapists" as well as comparing anger at false rape allegations to anger at people not caring about ones feelings and described criticism of the gender sentencing gap as just mean(ing) more criminals on the streets, then flat-out denied you said that less than 12 hours later, despite the fact that anyone can look at the comment thead and see for themselves, why would you then claim that you don't engage in gaslighting or lying, as they're just questions?

This is nothing to do with what the user said, just pointing out that you are a habitual liar and gaslighter, who doesn't even have the spine to accept it when they're called out.

If that guy really cared about his kid and wanted time with him…..shouldn’t he call the mother or the hospital, when the kid doesn’t show up?

[–]tenchineuro 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

The article says that he figured there was a change of plans.

[–]velvetalocasia 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Would you figure a change of plans when you got notified that your kid should be on the way and you KNOW that the mom is in hospital without notification? How do you all look after your toddlers?

They've grown up now.

[–]velvetalocasia 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

[–]tenchineuro 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Yes, this woman is stupid. But what does it have to do with mens rights?

So tell us, is there anything that you'd see as a valid men's issue?

[–]BeanBodhi 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is not a valid men’s issue. You’ve proven in your comments that you’re just as ignorant

[–]Greg_W_Allan 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Nowhere near as tiresome as you.

[–]tenchineuro 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

Does a man doing something bad say ANYTHING about men as a whole? No.

Better tell that to the UK and Australia, they were talking about a curfew for men after a murder.

  • From curfews to criminalizing ejaculation: it’s time to regulate men

  • Should men be allowed out after 6pm? Probably not, a Green party peer has said. Introducing a curfew for men would “make women a lot safer”, Baroness Jenny Jones argued in Britain’s House of Lords on Wednesday, in the wake of the horrific suspected kidnapping and murder of Sarah Everard.

[–]velvetalocasia 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

Did the curfew actually happen?

How was ejaculation criminalized?

[–]tenchineuro 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Did the curfew actually happen?

No.

How was ejaculation criminalized?

Look it up if you're interested, I don't remember.

[–]velvetalocasia -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Ahh, so nothing like this happened and you are still mad.

Where am I supposed to look that up? When you don’t even remember? What country? What circumstances?

[–]tenchineuro 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Ahh, so nothing like this happened and you are still mad.

  • “But I don't want to go among mad people,” Alice remarked. “Oh, you can't help that,” said the Cat: “we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.”

Where am I supposed to look that up?

Try the guardian article where the text came from.

[–]velvetalocasia -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

And so you live in a fantasy…..yeah I thought so.

Seems by the links @EmirikolWoker is a troll.

[+]EmiNVS -12 points-11 points-10 points 4 years ago (24 children) | Copy Link

the child was abandoned at a stranger's doorstep by a woman who is a friend of his mother, while the mother was in the hospital. The woman apparently mistook the house for the home of the child's father, who lived next door, "then left [the] location without verifying anyone was home or who she was releasing the child [to],"

¿Did you read the article? Mom was hospitalized, dad is apparently out of the picture and a mom's friend tried to leave the kid with his dad.

[–]chankletavoladora[S] 15 points16 points17 points 4 years ago* (23 children) | Copy Link

Who the fuck leaves a toddler out in the cold while you run back because you’re too cold? Also…father is out of the picture but is more than willing to take care of the child? Also is super distraught when he finds out the news about the abandoned kid is his kid? But he is out of the picture?

Mother is in the hospital and communicating with senseless girlfriend on the phone but can’t call the father to verify everything is good? Bruh why the fuck are you trying to justify this so hard??

[–]BeanBodhi 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You do realize if you actually read everything the father just assumed that it was a change of plans he decided not to call anybody to make sure his child was OK but instead just assumed everything was fine

[+]velvetalocasia -6 points-5 points-4 points 4 years ago* (18 children) | Copy Link

Ain’t it funny that you totally ignore the role of the father here? The father, who was notified that his kid should be dropped off at his house but who did not asked back, when the kid did not show in the afternoon and who even went out and subsequently could not be found by the police, when they went from door to door to find where the child belonged….

[–]princelydeeds 8 points9 points10 points 4 years ago (17 children) | Copy Link

It's the father's fault that he wasn't all knowing, couldn't read the mothers friends mind, and didn't know what the mother had planned.... Yes... he should have known the piece of shit friend, whom he may not have ever met in his life was a piece shit who would abandon his kid...

Women will defend women, and blame men no matter how fucked up the behavior....

[–]velvetalocasia -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (15 children) | Copy Link

Well according to the article/video he was notified that his kid should be brought to him that day……when your kid then doesn’t show up, you just go out and think what ever?

[–]princelydeeds 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (14 children) | Copy Link

It makes more sense to speculate on what the father may or may not have known. Than to blame the piece of shit that abandoned the kid?

If you are going to drop wild speculation why not criticize the mother who gave her child to this piece of shit woman? What kind of mother would be friends with a woman like this? What kind of mother would give her child to this piece of trash?

The article says that the woman who abandoned the kid was friends with the mother so if the woman is a piece of shit, Why not call the mother a piece of garbage for having friends that would do that to her child?

[–]velvetalocasia 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

So we criticize the mom, who was in the hospital (we have no idea what was going on but with this poor planing I would believe it was some kind of emergency) and we criticize the friend (rightfully) but the father, who was notified and went out like never mind……that guy is blameless? Of course men can never be expected to do anything….not even pick up the phone and ask where their kid is….I never said the friend wasn’t to blame or maybe even the mom….but let’s not pretend that daddy dearest was an angle here.

[–]chankletavoladora[S] 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

Yea exactly the guy is blameless.

[–]BeanBodhi 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

Except for the fact that he didn’t call anybody with his kid didn’t show up

[–]chankletavoladora[S] 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Myabe he did and nobody picked up cause she was in the hospital. That drop off should had been coordinated with him and wasn’t and you still want blame him for this. Crazy. This is an example where the man always loses. Even in this forum.

[–]testing35 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

can anybody make out what his shirt says?

[–]velvetalocasia 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

So if the mother of your kid told you that she is in the hospital and your kid should be dropped off at your house but they never arrive…..you do nothing? You just go about your day and don’t wonder WHERE YOU TODDLER IS AT?

[–]BeanBodhi -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is honestly pathetic I cannot believe that this post to Sirius

[–]BeanBodhi 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is very typical of men to sit there and automatically blame the woman in the situation and try to absolve the mail of any responsibility whatsoever and honestly it’s getting sad

[–]BeanBodhi -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Do you know what it is the father’s fault because he was aware he knew that he was supposed to have his kid and when I asked about it he said oh I just assumed it was a change of plans so don’t even sit there and try to defend the father

[+]EmiNVS -8 points-7 points-6 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Who the fuck leaves a toddler out in the cold while you run back because you’re too cold.

Someone who has no ties to that toddler.

Also…father is out of the picture but is more than willing to take care of the child.

When the kid did not show up at the appointed hour father, who knows the mother is hospitalized, did not care to reach out to the mother to ask about the kid and just left his house, not giving two fucks about if the kid was safe or not.

Mother is In the hospital and communicating with senseless girlfriend on the phone but can’t call the father to verify everything is good?

Mother called a friend to pick the kid up and send a message to the father about the kid's arrival, mother was hospitalized, dunno how hospital operate around where you live, but around here phone use is restricted to avoid the possibility of it affecting the equipment.

[–]pasta4u 6 points7 points8 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

No one knows if he tried to reach her or not. Mother may not have been in a room with a phone and could have had a dead phone. Or in my case this august with covid I couldn't really stay awake so its not like anyone would get through to me even if they wanted too

[–]BeanBodhi 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I have actually read that he just assumed that it was a change of plans and did not actually check in with anyone
