What state is better for men to file in? CA or MI?

I honestly have no idea, BUT, reading posts on here and on r/divorce I would GUESS, MI!

I know I divorced my ex in MI, where we've lived our whole lives. And I came out great, but, my ex didn't fight. She knew she had no case. I had a book on her. She didn't even come to the final hearing.

I went through a divorce in CA, The courts here don't give a fuck. list your assets, debts and split it down the middle. Alimony isn't really a big thing unless you've been married for 10 years or more and one parent can't work.

But just going to say this, if you're moving it's better to give your wife a heads up. You could face scrutiny if you move and file quickly. The cost of living here is brutal and if they're not a high earner you could be paying for her to live for a while.
