My son's mom did this to me. We weren't doing well as she had bad post partum depression and I was under a lot of stress taking care of a new baby and my ill ex. Then one day I went to work and when I came home the house was empty. I was in shock. Which was her plan.

But I'd been married before and had a family law attorney on speed dial. He advised me that this happens all the time. That men are afraid to lose the children and let the mother stay away. She then get's granted residency and a pattern of raising the child fatherless begins.

He advised me to file for divorce and I did. Best decision I ever made. My son is now 25 and doing well. We have a good relationship.

How can she "kidnap" the person she carred and birthed?? If the mother doesn't want to give away her child that's completely within her right.
