I was a party at a country club last year. I was sitting with friends, and a guy sat besides me near my group. We talked. He was a total degenerate only looking to get laid. He said he wanted to get a woman that night but he was nervous.

I asked him why, he said he didn’t know why he was nervous.

The reason why was because he was a bad performer. He wanted to get laid, but in order to do so, he would have to put on a charismatic act.

Like with any other talent or skill, performative flirting takes practice.

Suppose you want to become an investment banker, for example. Well, you must strive for the hard qualifications (an education). Then you must refine the soft qualifications, such as the ones that helps you sell your talent and value to the bank—this part is performative.

In the same way, in general, to put yourself in the position to find a partner, you must be attractive. Now, when it comes to dating, you must perform.

“Must” in the sense that women are seduced by male performance. There are many women who would prefer authenticity, however, but this is not so common.

Women claim they want sincere effort in relationships, but all men know that is not true. Sure, there are women who truly want authenticity, like my gf and many women I know. But as a whole, all men know that if they say the right things at the right time, doors will be opened to them regardless of their intent. But if they present themselves as they really are, the rewards will not come.

I say this as a man who was at one point a degen, but unlike the guy I mentioned, I enjoyed the performative act. It’s merely a game.

If what I am saying is false, then women would not reward this sort of performative act.

Women: why do you think some women reward toxic behavior? By toxic, I mean the men who merely want to use the bodies of men as masturbatory machines without any regard for the woman? They are only nice and kind to get laid. When they get what they want, they change.
