It's not a recent news but no one put this here. It's worthy to remind that example of discrimination. Maybe someone know the results of this case?

The Delhi High Court Monday termed as "gender discrimination" the Indian Army's practice of having only women in its nursing service.
"It is gender discrimination, only other way round," a bench of Chief Justice Rajendra Menon and Justice VK Rao observed after it was informed that male nurses were not recruited into the Army's nursing branch.
The court gave the centre two months time to take a decision on the issue and listed the matter for hearing on January 21, 2019.

So wait, the court did not order them to stop discriminating, it gave the Army 2 months to decide?

That's really fucked up. They probably think men are gonna be perverts or do their job not as good as women.

As well as , men should have tougher jobs and let the women do all the easier work , what if a man doesn't want to push hard on himself , is it a crime?

So women can join masculine jobs like judges , doctors , bus drivers , lawyers , CEO's , Managers , but when a man wants to enter a female dominated job , its suddenly unacceptable. This is gender unequality in my opinion.

I've had many male nurses when I was in a clinic or hospital , many of them were great nurses , very helpful and outgoing.
