Hi I am getting an uncontested divorce in NYC. We fortunately have no kids and are both working and hopefully can walk away from this without too much trauma. Hope to just file docs in court and be done with. Our only shared property is our house which we will split. Any advice or unanticipated pitfalls I should anticipate? I will consult an attorney but I want to avoid her going to an attorney who tells her to "go after me". Current now we are amicable and I hope to keep it that way.
