19-year-old woman who punched an elderly man unconscious in the street, causing him to fall to the ground, hit his head and then die a week later, is cleared of causing his death. Instead, she was charged with "wounding" and given a six-month curfew

I don’t really understand why you would even do this?

What was so exciting about drinking in someone else’s house?

Plenty of parents drink every night and just responsibly provide care for their own children but this is just ridiculous behaviour.

Just put them to bed and then have a drink, you don’t need to completely abandon them.

Would it have been that hard to get someone to watch the kids for an hour or two while you visited your friends? Used to be pretty normal to pay a teenager a few bucks to do that kind of thing.

[–]hatefulreason 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

back when a few bucks could actually get you something

[–]Killrog8 22 points23 points24 points 4 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

My cousin did this, left her 2 month old alone on her bed with the front door unlocked, just so she can go on a 2 hour “slurpee” run.

[–]Echo13D 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

what happened then if i may ask

[–]Killrog8 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

CFS was called, she no longer has custody of her kids, my aunt and uncle do. She legally cannot be with them without supervision and she has to do a monthly drug test. Which she has failed 4 times in a row.

[–]Echo13D 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

oh damn i just hope the kids will be fine

[–]Killrog8 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

They’re crack babies unfortunately, the oldest is displaying severe behaviour issues and the youngest may have FAS.

[–]Echo13D 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

im sorry for them the mother sure is an absolute pos

[–]Killrog8 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

She is, 3 interventions and 4 rehab centres. She has no intention of changing.

[–]Echo13D 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

at that point you really got to think humanity cant do worse i mean those anti gamers being like nazis many people like her if i would go on i would have depression again

[–]Killrog8 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

She just wants to party, she has no intention of taking responsibility at all. Her mom blames all of us for being a bad influence. Like get off your high horse, addiction runs deep in our family, from smoking to drinking with our parents. Myself and my cousins just smoke pot and drink when we hang out which is twice a month. My younger brother is too into his computer to do stupid shit, my sister has been in recovery for the last 3 years.

From what I hear, this isn't unusual for alcoholics. From the article, this woman has been given lots of chances, and even has the UK equivalent of a DUI.

Company is always nice. But she should have invited them to her house.

Six previous convictions including a 90 day abstinence order from alcohol. And why does she still have these children and not her grandparents?

[–]Dannycape 16 points17 points18 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

My ex wife started to leave my kids by themselves at night to do this. First time I was mad but shrugged it off the second my oldest called me crying because she wasn't there to get them ready for school. Ended having to go there , youngest was crying terrified. Took them with me called the cops that time to have a record of it. When I asked her why she can't wait tell I have the kids to do this, she said "what am I supposed to put my life on hold because I have kids". At that point I knew she was a lost cause and this has happened more then I'd want to know.

Once you have kids raising them is your life till they get older.

Did you get full custody?

[–]Dannycape 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No its split, full custody is a big under taking. But having the police record helps, if the day comes. Hopefully things don't have to go that far.

Stories like this will get worse and worse as society continues to refuse to hold women accountable for their actions.

[–]Echo13D 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

yeah here is a similar story but the man got charged worse than his wife who plead not guilty:https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/news/uk-world-news/baby-girl-died-alone-cot-6748055

[–]ijustdontcare74 24 points25 points26 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I've left my kids alone when they were 8 before, to run to the shops (for like 10mins), but never for hours and NEVER when they were that young. To leave them alone to go drink is inexcusable.

[–]tenchineuro 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

When the kids were young, if we had to go anywhere, the store, the doctors, whatever, they all came with us. It became a family outing. On the way back from the doctors we have a tradition of stopping for frozen yogurt. On the way back from the dentist we stop at the local Wendy's.

Some folks are asking where is the father (could be fathers too). One look at her track record and behaviour profile will give you a few good reasons why the father is not there.

For those asking why she still has the children, just look at the weak sentence she got despite her consitently criminal behaviour, endangering her children and repeated lies.

[–]Practical-Rip6471 16 points17 points18 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

During the very early seventies as both my patents were working and my elder bother and sisters we're at school, 4 year old me was left alone to look after my 3 year old sister until one of the older children came home from school near 4pm.

This is what happened in the seventies. We were called latch key kids. Kids who came home to empty houses because the parents were working.

[–]OldEgalitarianMRA 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Where was the father? I ask this from the point of view that 50/50 equal parenting would give her every other weekend to go out drinking. Equal parenting allows both parents to go on with their lives while having both a mother and a father in their lives.

I swear when ever a woman commits a crime they are always like, "She was going through a tough time" lmao

She also knew she was guilty but attempted to frame the neighbour as a liar.

"If it had been a man with that record and then abandoning his children he would have been jailed, why do women get namby pamby sentences, suspended? that's a laugh." Is one of the top rated comments on that news site.

What's interesting is the left-wing usual obsession with over policing especially in black communities. This over-policing almost always focuses on poor, working class men. Those same leftists almost always turn a blind eye to female criminality, whilst claiming our society doesn't punish wealthy men enough. Whilst it may be the case that wealthy men can dodge prison sentences I think the long term affect of working-class female under-policing will lead to much more detrimental effects of society.

A knew a guy growing up who was borderline retarded. Well it turned out he wasn't at all, his mother had just manipulated him and everyone else into believing he was retarded. She went out of her way to ruin his life really, allowing him to smoke cannabis as a child. She made a lot of money through this and other benefit type frauds. Did she go away? Did she fuck.

Take a look at Bruce Jenner. He kills a woman whilst drug driving, changes gender and everyone forgets. Brave, brave Caitlin.

Single motherhood, it's been so great for society. Where's the father, they ask? Deleted from his kids' lives by the mother, that's where.

EDIT: "Hefferman, 25, was given a 10-month suspended prison sentence and 200 hours' unpaid work". UK court system for you.

[–]tenchineuro 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

  • Heffernan was given a 10-month suspended prison sentence and 200 hours' unpaid work.

  • No court orders were made in connection with the children in the case and this was later confirmed by the court.

Wow, they threw the book at her! /s

[–]idontneedausername89 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I wonder how much the courts will fine her for this horrible act of child neglect?

[–]tenchineuro 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Well, they did sentence her to 200 hours of unpaid work. Not a fine though and I'll bet she won't do it and will face no sanctions.

No, never started that battle. That entire process seems overwhelming. And I doubt once incident that was reported would be enough.

A lot of British women are entitled beyond belief, They really don't see anything wrong with doing this, They don't accept culpability when caught out, They immediately begin pointing a conspiratorial finger at those who witness their behaviour as though just by the act of knowing what type of person they are, You are guilty of some grave, unforgivable crime.

The are fucking murder to deal with and they have been taught throughout their lives to play the victim and blame others for your problems, Society buckles itself to accommodate this nonsense, It hasn't happened in a vacuum though and I wouldn't be surprised if she's also on anti-depressants which in some cases, Rather than rectifying a problem with someone's psyche just serves to make them absolutely shameless.

Paternity should be proven at the birth of a child and the father should be given rights and responsibilities to facilitate the life time protection of those kids.
