Just wanted to de-stress, vent and post, not even that upset; this is more for me to get thoughts out of my head.

Together 17 years, married 12 years, separated Oct 21 and I filed Feb 22. She laweyed up (I followed) and now just watching her drag her feet. We need to sell the marital home and I want to sell ASAP during the current housing bubble. I have no idea what she wants as she blocked my cell / texts, and wants email only communication or via the lawyers. She's a stay at home house wife with no kids. I am a physician making excellent money and historically worked a ton extra to give us a beyond bomb lifestyle.

So I ultimately got my own rental place (which is awesome). But am still paying for everything at the old house + spending money for her. My base salary won't cover all that. So I need to keep working extra shifts so I can have everything covered and spending money for me (I am attacking life and resuming all old hobbies with a passion).

Fortunately I make great money so this is not that big a deal. My issue is that I want her to either step up and pick a date to list the house, OR just state she doesn't want to sell (until a judge orders it which would be like next spring). I don't really mind doing extra for a few months, but if this turns into a year and a half plus, no way I want to support her beyond base bills (her ass needs to get a job someday). BUT she doesn't want to get a job until after the divorce, which I freely admit makes sense! It would only affect her support.

I am in the unusual position of requesting that a temporal support order be drawn up on myself! Because I want to get everything official and the small credit against future support. Again, this process is getting dragged out. I truly don't even care if the temporary order / agreement requires me to pay more. I just want to not be in limbo. We sent her side my full financial declaration last week, haven't heard shit from them...

She finally said she's open to mediation. But the first opening for the mediators that my lawyer likes aren't open until May 2nd!? I was like we can pick anyone, I don't care who they are just get things moving ASAP. I also am asking to just write up my final offer (minus ~75% so they have so negotiation room to go up and feel better) so we can start something.

I accept the process for what it is. And if It's hammer things out quickly to sell the house before June OR sit on our hands until court date (next year); either is ok. I just want to know which!?!

I was actually happy to work extra when we were a couple. I work a ton, we take a great trip or do a major home revision or pay off debt, etc. Now working extra is just that, extra work. And I'm so beyond that now. We have no kids and simple assets, this should take like 2 hours to write out. She's clearly pissed and dragging her feet.

Anyway, just posting to let of minor steam and de-stress. Feel better and accept whatever is to come. Might end up wasting a ton of money with lawyers, missing the housing bubble and paying another house/bills for a year plus; but in the end, it all ends with termination and freedom :)
