So just venting because it helps me to share. 17 years together, 12+ years married, separated Oct 2021, I filed Feb 2022, no kids. In WA state you get a court date 11mo after filing which is 1/3/23 for us. So I'll skip the long story but we have to sell the house. She refused to even discuss it back in May-June when it would have sold in < 1wk with several escalation clauses. Her initial attorneys also withdrew in June :) So new attorney finally convinced her to put the house on the market (listed 11/2). I've paid all repairs, for her and the pets to be out of the house for 1wk (she refuses to leave the house until sold). The market is in the toilet and the flush is coming.

We have had only ONE couple look at the house, and they actually put in an offer for $1.27M (asking $1.3M) so only $30k less than asking. And of course she refused. Per our agent she is still expecting multiple offers and them to be way over asking, which the agent told her isn't likely to happen.

On top of that I mess up. I moved out 1/1 and took everything I wanted. I told her everything else in the house is hers, do what you want / keep what you want. Well it appears she made a HUGE list of stuff she wants to take with her from the house after the sell. Including: the kitchen faucet, the hot tub (which has a deck build around it and would need to be cut out and have the a/c unit removed then reinstalled) and a bunch of other stupid shit.

We have until 11/5 @ 2100 to accept this offer. In theory we have a listing agreement that if we can't agree on offer it will be decided by arbitrator; but doubt can get them to review this within 24hrs. Per the realtor she claims she will reject anything below full price.

So she's crazy! I mean I knew that, but even so. Taking the kitchen faucet (it's nice, one of of those touch on/off, brass, etc but you buy it at Loews for $400). Wanted to take the hot tub, logistically that's a nightmare.

As odd as it sounds though, I'm really feeling happy and pumped right now. Once again, her stupid and crazy demonstrates to me I'm making the correct choice getting the fuck out. It helps kill any worry or concern I have for her. And reminds me that she can't hurt me any more. It's only money, and while she will waste of ton of it; this will end! And once it does I will be 100% financially free. I am thankful to be able to see her so clearly. I still had a small construct of who I thought she was, but I was wrong she is just plan crazy.

I accept the fact that I married this crazy chick :) It's a humbling experience, and has made me a better person. I have always worked hard, studied hard and crushed life. But with my marriage I totally fucked up. Accepting that has really made me a better person and more understanding of others.

- So maybe I can get this offer signed off in 24hrs, but not likely. If I can't get her layer to make things happen I'm going to offer to pay the $30k difference myself (which would be $15k extra to her minus fees/taxes or ~$12.5k) a small price to pay to get the house off the market before the flush.
