It's a scientific fact that your brain isn't fully developed until you're 26. What if you're 11 year old says their trans, or as most 11 year Olds think "dreamsexual" or one of the million of other sexualities that are a little shaky, and you say ok, take them to a doctor, sedate them, cut off or remove their genitals, then in 8 years they say it was just a faze? Imagine how fucking stupid you would feel, your 11 year old child just got their genitals removed because they think in order to feel loved they need be a girl, since only girls get love. That's sad.

This article confused me a little at first but then I suddenly remembered that when I was very young, while playing with myself, I found that I could hide 'everything' by putting them between my legs and closing my thighs tightly. I just found it funny that I looked like a girl down there. But this is not something that I repeated or enjoyed.

I can understand homosexuality but I've never been able to understand the wish for a man to change into a woman. The thought of having one's penis and testicles removed is something that I find scary. So the only thing that I can understand is that anyone willing to go through such a thing must feel very strongly about the issue.

The article states that 'normally' therapy / counselling for trans children starts when they are 10/11 years old. I really do not feel that I have the right to interfere with other people's lives but I find it strange that young children can make such decisions.

So now we have Leading Childrens hospital teaching our young children to tuck their testicles? I have absolutely no issue with LGBTQ+ people, i actually encourage them to live their life as they see fit.

But when we have a Leading Childrens Hospital teaching children, yes children how to tuck their testicles, that's too far. These are children who lack the experience or even sexuality to understand how they identify, many of whom i can imagine have yet to enter puberty.

Presumably this is aimed at transsexuals - in which case fine. No? Context matters...

I mean, that hospital has a gender services clinic and "children" will mean people up to at least 18.
