Given that they censor even a constructive criticism against everything else, hate against men is the only allowed form of speech left on their platform. They are deliberately filling hate and resentment in their users.

The algorithm was aggressively detecting comments denigrating White people more than attacks on every other group, according to several of the documents.

Weasal wording to mislead the reader. They want the reader to think that the algorithm was purposefully ignoring hate speech targeted at minorities.

The truth is that the overwhelming majority of hate speech is targeted towards white people and men.

Research has consistently found that men are the vast majority of victims of hate speech and hate crimes.

Including even when hate crimes are defined to exclude the male gender.

What that means is most victims of homophobia, transphobia, and racism, are men.

When you add men as a valid group unto themselves, women become a blip on the radar. And that doesn't even get into the issue of excluding men being an example of systemic and institutional misandry to begin with.

Almost all vitriol and bigotry in society in any context, is directed at men. Whether that's sexism, racism, or just people being mean in general; men face the brunt of it everywhere.

Reminds me of the DEMOS project with a british MP and jimmy wales( wikipedia) that were sure that online misogyny was caused by men. The DEMOS research showed it was mostly women attacking other women that was the "misogyny".

The British MP Yvette Cooper then decided to excuse the results by claiming internalized misogyny.

there is the same pattern there, pandering to the ideology rather than the act.

if you read the article there is a person who managed two BLM webpages and had to stop claiming harassment. Although he doesn't mention that race was a factor, but i suspect people's grievances with BLM was more to do with their hypocrisy and property speculations with the donations they received ( on top of the associated Burnings, Lootings, Murders accompanying their protest)

for the mod squad I would say the issue people have with them is mostly about their inappropriate behaviour( AOC masks?) and scandals like Omars current husband receiving a salary way above the requirement for the job, not to mention the claim about her first husband being her brother

the operand modus seems to be

when called out for inappropriate ( and sometimes illegal) behaviour ..play the identity politics card.

Facebook is changing its algorithms that detect hate speech, according to internal documents.

Internal documents from the social media company indicate that its previous “race-blind” policies resulted in Facebook being more vigilant about removing slurs directed at white users and deleting posts by people of colour.

The change involves re-engineering Facebook’s moderation systems in order to get better at automatically removing the worst content on its platform, which includes slurs against black people, Muslims, the LGBTQ community, and Jewish people, according to the Washington Post.

Before Facebook’s changes, comments such as “white people are stupid” would receive the same numerical rating as antisemitic or racist slurs, despite the distinction between how much each groups have historically suffered from abuse.
