From a secular perspective, you’re always moving towards a close with any woman. You’re always meeting new women and letting others go. Unless you’re having sex 30 minutes after you meet every woman, you would in theory have several plates you had not closed with (yet), that you are spinning none the less.

The closest thing I ever came to this as a Christian was in college. I was at a secular university with a massive Christian subculture. The largest organization on the campus was a Christian sorority with around 200+ girls in it. I was in one of the three Christian fraternities. All together, we didn’t equal one of the sororities on campus.

Because of that, an invite to one of the fraternity formals was a status flex for the girls. I learned really quickly through a terrible date, that some girls were happy to get the event t-shirt, and ghost you until another formal was coming up.

It was probably the only time I had an abundance mindset. I started asking out cute girls that I thought would be fun to dance with for one night and had a great time. It took all the pressure off and made me more fun as well, so I got invited to a lot of the sorority formals and semi-formal.

Unfortunately, I didn’t carry that perspective into the real world after college.

And as an extra, you don't need to follow what X or Y author says by the book, many will tell you to sleep with as much women as you can, but we know that such thing is a sin, and the act of not falling prey to our desires (with the help of God) is proof of our christian goal.

Many, MANY authors suggest going guns out with the sleeping topic, but being "repilled" is not just sex, It is a way of seeing this=ng as they are and being the best you can be.

"Sexing" multiple women just meant you didn't respect celibacy, and it's pretty ironic as TRP states that women with multiple partners are not wife material, but on the other side they sugggest you go and contribute to said issue. That is not noble, that is being a sinner and a slave of your body.

I always have to quote Rollo on this one because the secular guys like to take this concept further than it has to go. In Rational Male Year One > Plate Theory II > 2nd actual paragraph:

Spinning Plates doesn't necessarily mean you're f------ all of your plates. It's more of a spreading out of your efforts across a wider pool of subjects.

I remember at University I attempted something like a Christian version of this. The idea was that by doing this I would find one woman worth actually being with.

This did not work. What I ended up getting were 2 women who were actually attempting to cheat on their long distance boyfriends, some other strange stuff with other women which I blew off, and a whole lot of drama.

I don't think you will ever get a woman worth being with by plate spinning.

In my view, this sort of thing (Like a lot of PUA tricks) is essentially trying to fake virtue which you do not actually have. It would be overwhelmingly superior to simply develop the virtue and attract a woman who is worth having, which God will grant you if you pray very consistently for it, and read the Scriptures and the Moral Theologians and follow it.

I idea behind plate theory is Abundance mentality which gives you the power to defeat Oneitis. Oneitis is the biggest threat to young men. When you have multiple women pursuing you, if any individual one drops off it’s no big deal.
