It is a shame this man had to spend 6 months in jail when there was no evidence. They should grant men accused of rape or sexual assault anonymity just as they do the accused until matters are settled:

"I was not with my family and I couldn't talk to them. I was close to taking my own life.
"It does not feel real to me and I don't have closure. My life will not be the same again.
"When I leave here I will not get my life back."

Didn't know that in UK, they imprison you until court hearing. This is incredibly dangerous for men.

Bail is always given except for:

Exceptions to right of bail:

1) May abscond (therfore often not given to people with dual nationality)

2) Interfere with a witness.

3) Commit another offence.

Aahhhh, Manchester, that says enough. Remember that it was in Manchester that Police refused to prosecute muslim rape gangs, a fact that was brought to light by T. Robinson. They eventually decided to prosecute after a great deal of publicity
