It did seem like Will Smith was laughing at first until Jada gave him the look. On the other hand a talk show host when interviewed said that Will Smith threatened him before the show if he talked about Jada.

This is Will Smith's fault, no one else. Assault is not an answer to offensive speech. And if you hit people to please women you're a fool and a criminal.

Will Smith chose to slap Chris Rock. Blaming toxic feminism is vaguely analogous to feminists blaming all men/the partriarchy. Responsibility first and foremost lies with the slapper. Any 'systemic contributing factors' that may be relevant are much much less important, and therefore should not be the primary talking point. To speak only of 'toxic feminism' (which I think is a potentially valid contributor here) ignores the most important thing--personal responsibility.

Realistically speaking if Will Smith did absolutely nothing about it and stood in silence feminist would be full blown raging, foaming at the mouth. But all in all nobody should care that much about celebs. Hollywood is a joke, it’s insane how people go online and fight for the honor of celebs because here in the US we praise them WAYYYY too much.

Damned if we do damned if we dont mate. Just dont put yourself in harms way when them females are taking it out on each other. If she's in a confrontation with an aggressor best to leave her alone to deal with it or you'll end up dying as well. White knights can't seem to escape their death grip either or false accusations. Will Smith took away her agency and infantalised her and pedestalised her well before this "entanglement" happened which led to smoke turning to fire in the first place. She doesnt respect your decision, your authority or the boundaries you set for her and the relationship? Cut your losses and dump her where you found her and let the next man pick her up off the streets. Dont believe the "we just want to be loved and respected" BS because their patterns thus far show the complete opposite when choosing their mates..
