I've seen that narrative everywhere, that Jada is somehow responsible for his actions. All she did was have a pissed look on her face. She didn't ask her husband to hurt someone else. She didn't compel him with her witch powers. Will Smith is 100% responsible for his own stupid, reckless violence.

What could have been a throwaway joke nobody remembers, he immortalized with his reaction.

I honestly hate EVERYTHING about how Will Smith has handled this - including his apology. I could write essays on it. But I think most people here get it, so doesn't bear explanation. But as for Jada I am now getting a sense of a woman who has spent a long time putting up with the shit of her man-child husband. And when I say putting up with, I mean she clearly is frustrated by him, and wants him to do better, but also seems to tolerate almost enable his behaviour. I really don't know what to make of her.

Irrelevant but the last time I saw a pic of Jada, she had a blonde crewcut so I imagined that when news articles mentioned her shaved head. And now that I see what it actually is, I'm so envious of how amazing she looks with it. That bone structure, holy shit.

Anyway, yes why did he have to mention Baltimore when Jada did nothing?

I hate men like him who blame others for their own doings. I understand that he was trying to take her side but he was laughing at first before he noticed his wife’s expression and only then he took action.

Jada’s from Baltimore. Jada, who just sat there. But in his book her literally looking at him was as violent as what he did, I guess.

I hate that with everything going on in the world we’re still talking about this, but I can’t let it pass unmentioned either..

I think he included her because they supposed to be a "team." Not that i agree with it, but he didn't want to be hung out to dry on his own so he threw her under the bus too.
