Hey everyone, I'm a 23M. After some "self-improvement" over the past few years, I'd say that I'm a fairly desirable partner on paper, and get a decent amount of initial interest from women (e.g., flirting, numbers, first dates). But for various reasons---in particular, brutal rejections/false rumors of sexual harassment in undergrad when I wasn't as attractive---make it difficult for me to discuss emotions or ask for anything physical; indeed, sometimes I delay or don't even ask for a first date.

For many women, this all appears cold, uncaring, emotionally distant. I've just started seeing a therapist, but does anyone here have advice about how to open up about my inhibitions? I don't want to exhaust my entire dating pool while I work up the courage to take her invitation for a kiss.
