So I’m already in chapter 5 I’m going to read it through then go back and do the exercises. One thing I did realize is my childhood contribution is more secondary. While there were some comments about don’t make your mother mad this was more about my dad growing up with an alcoholic father and being the gold star kid (he was the youngest of 3) and his mom instilled in him to be the opposite of his dad. That led to him being the dad he wanted as a kid rather than the dad I needed. Tho a great example in work ethic. My dad also has depression (which for awhile unbeknownst to me at the time went untreated . Which led to my mom having to do all the home front stuff herself. I do think I was born a sinner tho also beleive that by accepting Gods love I became a new creature but still struggle with flesh. I do the thinks I ought not and don’t do those which I ought. I also struggle with black and white thinking
