Can’t say. I know my ex girlfriend, who was actually highly mentally abusing, accused me of all sorts of things…solely based off of what her ex did to her. And despite her even saying “ well Peter did this …” before accusing me, she wasn’t ever “comparing me and punishing me” for her exes wrong doing….

People are strange.

General media statistics say that 1/5 women were the victim of rape or attempted rape in self reporting surveys. Nearly all the assailants were men therefore many women have had contact with bad men.

But only 1/72 men have committed rape.

One reason could be that a few men commit a lot of rape. Just like it is with other crimes. Only 8% of men commit around 95% of all crime.

They say its “all men because if its not zero then its all of them” but you can use that logic for every single thing that people have died from. All drivers are bad because if car crashes aren’t zero its everyone. Even the same logic they use can be used the other way around on them, since the amount of female rapists are not zero its all females.

Not by me. I was raised by a strong father and was surrounded by men who would die rather than hurt me. Maybe some women had the opposite

Bias is inherent to how our consciousness works. We judge an "object" by what behavior we attach the that "object". Bias is generally anecdotal due to it being an evolutionary function developed in our neurological system, however in humans as a "highly developed" or specialized, neurologically speaking, herd animal various social pressures can lead to exaggerations of these biases in a negative or positive direction. In short it's complicated and there isn't 1 or 2 reasons.

that's an American phenomenon. In Europe that kind of perverse and warped mindset is not as common.
