Easter Sunday was the first holiday that we haven’t been together as a family. Even during separation we spent the holidays together for the kids. Papers were filed last month! She has a new BF already, former best friend. Was tough on me with the kids and without her!

Divorce isn't final and we still live in our house with 4 kids. I got them up early to easter egg hunt in our back yard, took pictures, hugged them all told them I loved them, said goodbye to the wife. Then I drove to a buddies house out in the country for a barbeque, stayed gone all day. That was our last easter together.

STBXW had her family thing last weekend ( I had no idea intil i saw pics on FB ) and I was supposed to take the kids out to my parents place for Easter dinner yesterday. But then one was sick and the other wasn't showing symptoms yet... not wanting to expose my parent to whatever the kids might have I went myself. .. and that was my Easter.. an oddly quiet dinner with my folks.

Wife decided to leave last week. Three days later I learn she’s “talking” to someone online in another state. Two days later was our 11 year anniversary. The next day was Easter. She took the two youngest to her families house and dropped them off to me when she was done. It sucks not having that family feeling for the first time. But I’m sure we will get through this. All of us.

sorry, man. you're not alone. my stbxw isn't seeing anyone (that I know of) but left with our youngest to go over to "our" friends' for their family's celebration so it was just me and my oldest (from my first marriage.) easter isn't a big holiday for us but it still hurt. she didn't come home either so I couldn't even say goodnight to my kid.

Same here. She decided she wanted a divorce in December force her way into mediation in March. Decided not to attend Easter and is active on a dating app. My kids had a good holiday so I'm grateful for that but I'm just sad. After all she has done I still love and miss her, I'm broken I think.one minute at a time. I'm shocked at how cold and uncaring she is.
