I follow quite a few different subreddits about OLD and the common message to the average guy is that they just need to freshen up their pictures and make them more exciting to look at. A higher quality picture that is less blurry is why so many average guys are failing on these apps to get any kind of response. I argue that this is BS and that the quality of the picture is not the problem. The problem is the expectations women have. This can obviously be supported by the OKCupid statistics in disparity between how many profiles each gender finds attractive enough to swipe right on.

Well here's a video that explains how a sister took control of her brother's dating profile to try and help him. Like most women she was under the assumption that the problem was with what he was doing and how he was presenting himself on the app and it was totally his fault that he was having no luck with online dating.
