Men are not allowed to leave the country, which means women are most of the refugees and therefore the primary victims, or something.

Just really wish I got an article in my inbox saying “We need to stand up for men and their rights in this conflict. The male gender is not to be used as fodder in wars”

In war, the refugees are among the lucky and the living. Men are the primary victims and casualties of war.

They don't see men as human beings so whatever bad happens to them isn't a ''bad thing'' unless it affects ''actual human beings'' like women.

Could you provide the whole context of this article?

If the article is about refugees, then pointing out most of them are women would be fair, as it's an observable fact. If it's about the war in general, and they are framing women as the main victims because they are most of the refugees, then that would apply.

I must say, I'm really tired of this subject being brought up and the overall dismissive attitude I see from a lot of users regarding adressing the difficulties women are facing in this war. As an egalitarian I don't see any problem with adressing those issues as long as you don't act like men are privileged for being forced to stay and die, and I'm not seeing that in this article, or in a lot of the articles that have been posted in this sub.
