Fuck this body positivity bs people are gonna be attracted to who they find attractive. No one can change that. This body positivity is a way of coddling women and making then believe that they will remain attractive no matter what they do. The women themselves have full liberty to be as selective as they want when it comes to picking men and holding men to the highest standards possible.

It's because the body positivity movement is largely about fat chicks who are angry about men not wanting to fuck them. The rest of us don't get depressed over an attractive model showcasing the underwear we want to buy.

Imo it's fine, the company is just marketing the products the most convenient way. Without PC bullshit that is with attractive models. With it, it's not, and you risk being cancelled or some shit, so it's just the market adapting. If someone doesn't like it, they can use the vote of their purchase to have a say in whether that kind of marketing lives on or not.

The fashion industry is dragging their feet waaaay too much on featuring plus size male models.The past couple years have proven that people like ads with a variety of body types, so what's the hold up?

Also, kudos to Savage x Fenty for raising the inclusivity bar, again. They're including plus size male models in print ads as well as their lingerie show. And the best part is that they're not relegated to a "plus size" category. They're just guys, modeling underwear, who happen to be plus size. We need more of this.

Eta- it's not just diverse body size where men's advertising is lagging. The past few years there's been an increase in disabled models and older models among ads featuring women. I'm not seeing the same thing for men.

I started dieting and exercising because my doctor told me I had high cholesterol, high blood pressure and had gained a concerning amount of weight in a short period of time. Everyone except 2 people that I told that I was trying to get healthy shit on me or would say "why would you even want to do that?" I learned to just keep it to myself. Btw I've lost 50 pounds and I'm still trying to diet/exercise and drink lots of water. My cholesterol and blood pressure are back to normal 👍

Well since i have a lot of problems with this reddit in particular.... But i will say my opinion again ...

The only thing that women own/have is literally her body look around you and you will figure it out....

For an example look out for all the social medias platforms you will find that highest number of followers for a female is because of her body... Despite onlyfans off course....in tge other hand males ether being followed because of being good on his career or his mentality....

Body positivity should be for things you can’t change. For example, if you have a birth mark covering half your face, or if you’re an albino. Obesity just doesn’t fit the bill.
