It's not really clear what type of housing situation you're referring to, but if it's a shared house, then I think it's perfectly fine to limit it to a certain gender. Men may be more willing to have women in their house than vice versa, but it is common in both directions.

Try to look for an apartment yourself, and then advertise for a roommate for the other room. That is what I did when I was younger.

There’s nothing wrong with women not wanting male roommates and Vice versa. Don’t make up problems that aren’t problems. These kinds of things will make the movement look bad.

I think that women have the right to only have female roommates. As long as a whole property isn't female only, as in they don't reject males for being males even in open suites, then it's fine.

It’s the thing that pisses most of us off about feminists, so let’s not bring it here.

I think a woman has the right to who she wants living with her. I think a man has the right to who he wants living with him too. Each of us looks for something different when choosing a friend, a partner, a roommate, a mentor, and so on…

If you try to find discrimination everywhere you will probably find it.
