Parents are both responsible. I also place a good portion of responsibility on Government.

Let’s skip back to the 50’s. (Boomer Teenhood).

Understand I am aware of the racial & political divide of the 50’s. I’m not condoning that.

Government wasn’t inundating black communities with drugs.

Government wasn’t sending arms to Mexico.

Government wasn’t allowing companies to low ball employee wages so one parent (often Mom) stayed home and acted as a guiding presence for children.

Government didn’t allow the Medical Industry or Pharmaceutical Industry to screw the public. So people could actually afford the care they received. (And could seek it without fear or worry of being bankrupt by one ambulance trip)

There were actual agencies in place with Federal backing acting as a check and balance.

There wasn’t so much god damn corruption or back room deals. Lobbyists weren’t NEARLY as influential.

People* could afford a home. (I put an asterisk there to let any Shrutes reading this that I understand Banking bias against minority borrowers)

Kids, young adult under 30 now live in a culture of extreme, unavoidable objectification and standards that are unrealistic. They’re medicated out the ass. They’re inundated with negative news 24/7. They don’t have time with their parents because Their parents are too busy working and keeping our heads above water to stop for one second & take a breath to focus on the kids. They’re stressed. The kids “learning” shit in public schools are stressed with unnecessary homework and subjects they have absolutely no interest in.

It just sucks all around.

Yep-this is a point I've been trying to make most of my life but nobody gets the irony-men arent allowed any input in raising of boys of girls-if theyre even allowed to even SEE the kids. So the influence and reason kids are so screwed up is obviously related to the WOMEN who raise them.

So 9 out of 10 men have had fathers abandon them and have no positive male role model because as stated many times it’s not another man’s responsibility to raise someone else kids who end up being criminals.
