I believe American dating culture, as well as dating in just about any other major Western culture such as the UK, France, Australia, Canada, Ireland, tend to all have one thing in common: They are all a numbers' game

Now let's look at the latter category: What countries could possibly come into mind? To me any country with a strong sense of community, tradition and family values obviously or you have the more political definition of communitarianism, but we're talking culturally here anyway...

India, Romania, Argentina, Cuba, Russia, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Finland

So let's offer the commentary on the dating culture in more hyper-individualistic cultures

I believe dating in an individualistic society is more of a status game rather than one of true intimacy, this is because being in a relationship is literally treated with the same vein as being employed, remember is all status-driven, I believe patriarchy was right in preventing sexual hyper-capitalism from taking a toll onto the dating field and giving everyone an equal access here and there. Remember before the Industrial Revolution and the establishment of religion, men had to fight tooth to nail for mating rights very seriously

Not to mention the whole ''spread the seed'' tagline a lot of red pillers and even tradcons seem to enable

Not to mention in a hyper individualistic culture like the United States, I believe as much as people as publicize their relationships like crazy, admit most people would rather be single if they could get their intimacy or reproductive needs met. I mean the technology is kinda only improving anyways by the minute
