Well pretty much any good thing or achievement gets attributed to woman as a whole while anything bad thing is only the individual women, while for men it’s the opposite any bad thing is attributed to men as a whole and any good thing or accomplishment is given only to the individual man, so pretty much even though you’ll see a lot of men in videos like that helping or saving something, these women who believe men don’t have empathy will only see them as individual men doing a good thing compared to how they will see woman as a whole doing a good thing

I’ve heard lots of feminists talking about how men don’t have empathy.

Projection on the part of those women least able to engage in empathy.

Empathy is primarily a male characteristic. Women ARE very good at expression of sympathy. The traditional wisdom holds that kids learn empathy from their fathers. The modern social problems stemming from father absence lend great weight to that wisdom.

I'd say the opposite. I feel as though men are way more empathetic because we have to tolerate more in society so we know how bad it can be. Women don't care about men's struggles. They wait at the finish line and bang the winners. This is an evolutionary expression of hypergamy Paired with female solipsism. It serves females evolutionarily to be solipsistic. This is because if she focuses more on herself she is more apt to be sensitive to her environment and therefore provide more appropriate care to her offspring.

How dare these people say men don't have empathy? Who wrote the Nuremberg code for God's sake? Or the Geneva convention? Or any of the other great human rights documents. They have sympathy but not empathy.

Lastly, personally in my life, I feel as though males just are. My cousin killed himself, for multiple reasons, however he did reach out for help and his fiancé and mother always deny blame. They feel bad he did it but they don't acknowledge that they are partially responsible.

I would say it is the opposite. Men tend to care more about other while modern women tend to be more narcissistic and more self centered.

Women who say this are just trying to use shaming language to get men to do what they want.It's an effective tactic because men actually do care about women, and are bothered when women say these things.I believe this is intentional emotional manipulation, because how can these women claim that men are oppressive cruel people and then turn around and ask for their help?I just don't believe that level of cognitive dissonance is even possible.

Maybe the sort of help men do lends itself to being filmed better or the "bro" part is being taken literally by posters? As a frequently traveler I have on many occasions have needed to rely on the help of strangers. I can honestly say people of both genders have helped me on plenty of occasions when it was of no benefit to themselves. It is so malicious to accuse either of not possessing empathy and I think communicates a lot about the speakers ability to perceive things.

I'm a woman here.

I personally believe men experience empathy just as equally as women. I'm not sure why I'm seeing comments claiming that men have more empathy than women.

These kind of statements can be harmful because they further divide people and antagonize each other, when we should truly work together on tackling issues. The women saying that men who don't have empathy are just as wrong as men saying women have no empathy.
