Typing that makes me even makes me cringe inside. It’s a very childish quality to have and it’s nothing to take lightly and should be something to be ashamed. Because who else feels uncomfortable around girls but fine around men: Little kids, they’re more comfortable around guys because girls are scary to them.

So I’m not quite this bad but I don’t ever really open up to people when I meet them, I feel like I’m always putting up a front because I suppress my personality because people may perceive it as childish or dorky. In fact that’s kind of how I am in social settings. I can go up to people regardless of gender and talk a little bit and if I talk to men it may run smoother than if I talk to women (pathetic) there’s one thing that stays the same: I’m not that interesting, it’s all small talk. I’m just a guy they’re talking to; nothing special. They’re are guys that are noticeably awkward and uncomfortable but they seem genuine. I can’t imagine being uncomfortable and being ok with it. I just see it as shameful. The bottom line is I don’t particularly enjoy being around people but I also hate being a loner…
