Not exactly sure the best flair.

Recent events in my personal life and in the world have pushed me over the edge, into the deep end, the final straw, etc.

I'm going to try and word this carefully because I don't want to break any rules. Because of what is happening in society, and especially what has happened in my life, I have started to have thoughts and feelings of hating women. The more experiences I have with them, including dating, the worse this gets.

I continue to work with them and be professional. And I have good relationships with the women in my family. But I am otherwise miserable. I see no hope in my future. I do not know how some of you deal; sometimes reading this sub (I've lurked for a little while now) gives the impression there's nothing that can be done.

Right now I'm just very lost and depressed. I go to a church sometimes on my day off to be alone and read and I guess just pray for a fucking miracle. Society seems doomed and being a conservative man is fucking shit, especially on a liberal college campus. I'm getting a degree in education in part because I care about our youth, and especially want to be able to help young men who are struggling in any way I can however small, but right now I can't even fucking help myself. I see no love at all right now from women; I have only ever been loved by my mother, and similar familial / unconditional love from the women in my family. Not very reassuring. Some young men unfortunately don't even get that. Outside of family, "love" or any other kind if affection has been so capricious it's made me cynical. I think that's why I've turned to religion.

I was hoping for any advice. Thank you for reading. Have a blessed day.
