First of all, it's been over 10 years since I last properly watched The Simpsons so I don't know how the show has evolved or devolved (I heard it became Woke). Anyway, the other day I decided to check out some Simpsons clips on YouTube, and saw this scene which must be from one of the newer episodes because I haven't seen this before.

The scene is basically a smug and obnoxious young female IT Coding teacher who sees that there too many boys in the class, mocks them indirectly and then discriminates against them by kicking one of the boys (Milhouse) and his desk away far away to the back, and tells Lisa (the only female in the class) to move and take the front space. Not only the actions, but the arrogant way in which she spoke was annoying as well.

I know this is a cartoon and I shouldn't be annoyed, but it's a clear agenda and it's a reminder of the blatant discrimination against boys in schools, which is most definitely a real thing in real life. And this tripe of a scene simply peddles that message that it's funny and okay to discriminate against and mock the boys, but treat the girls with respect and give them privilege.

Or maybe I just overreacted a bit and should just laugh it off.
