(Disclaimer: This question is subjective; it's a matter of personal opinion and taste.)

Now let's not pull this "men and women are the same, gender is a social construct you far-right BIGOT" crap. There are fundamental differences between men and women, and on average, men are more brave and courageous than women.

And at least in the past, men liked being the more courageous sex in a relationship. Some men like to play the protector role. In fact, I think that's where the "horror movie date" cliche came from. They expect the woman to get scared by the killer/monster or the bloody scenes in the movie and cling to him to make her feel safe. I think that for at least a moderate amount of guys, men need to be needed.

But some men--myself included--like a gal who doesn't live up to the "women are scardey-cats" stereotype. Some men like a woman who isn't scared to kill a roach or a mouse, isn't really creeped out by snakes, or has a strong tolerance for violence and gore. And in the same light, some women in a same-sex relationship might like to feel like the more courageous one. Some women are willing to take up a dangerous job or career in the military, as a firefighter, cop, so on and so forth.

So to the men and gay/bi gals and babes, I wanna hear it from you. Is it more attractive to you when a woman is more timid and has stereotypically feminine phobias (horror, mice/rats, roaches, spiders, snakes, etc), or when a woman is brave and courageous?
