I'm off to college in a few days and I figure I'm not the only one here. Older TRPers, post any advice or tips you can.

Go to every single class. Utilize your professors' office hours and make sure they recognize you and know your name after a few weeks. Study hard and don't get into drugs. You're paying for this education so get the most out of it.

Don't take relationships too seriously. AWALT is especially true in college. Don't take it personally when the girl you hooked up with and thought you had a thing with sucks some other guy's dick the next day. And don't settle for a girlfriend just because all your friends have one.

Lift and be social. Talk to everyone. You'll be fine.

Talk to your professors. And go to class.

Also balance your work with fun. Make sure to get everything you need done. You will regret it if you don't. But also make sure to have fun these will be the best years of your life. You have access to so many women. Use it as practice. And I wouldn't get into a relationship.

I slept with a shit load of women at college it really formed me into who I am. I had more fun than any man could. But I now regret not taking school more serious.

Don't game girls in your class especially if you are a computer engineer where they are limited girls.

Talk to everyone.

Lift and never procrastinate on studying. Start with 20 minutes a day on each subject.

Find mentors that are living the life you want.

Focus on classes, get the "American Pie" image of college out of your head if you have it (it can be possible, but it isn't the norm), and study for what you came for. Use college as a platform for improving yourself, then use those improvements once you're out of it.
