Almost every time a post comes up with women and roles a common counter argument men's rights activists make goes along the lines of

"Well guess no one will fix their sink then"

"If not for male soldiers they would not be experiencing any kind of safety"

And sure those are valid in a sense because as of right now those jobs are predominantly occupied by men but think about this for a minute.

Was it not men that discouraged women from taking those jobs? Was it not the traditional viewing of women as soft and incapable of hard work (which is mainly reinforced by men) that pushed many women from taking those jobs? Lastly, now that women are going into those careers is it not men that target them for it?

Basically you men shot yourselves in the foot and gave yourselves the role of taking the grittiest, hardest and riskiest jobs and now you are complaining about that and trying to hold that as leverage against women. After all men have been in charge of society for like what thousands of years now? We literally gave ourselves those jobs when we were in charge.

Just accept that women are not a hive mind

Women are as capable of grity work as you are

They are slowly integrating themselves to jobs you denied/discouraged them from. It's slow but a problem cause by hundred of years worth of generational sht is not gonna get fixed in 70 years so sit back relax and watch that complicated knot get untied.

Of course not all men are accountable to the statements I have made above but for the sake of the argument let's take this argument with the premise that I'm talking about the men that do indeed take part in the aftermentioned activities.
