This one is noticing the frequency of free shit for being young and cute is dropping off a cliff, and is looking to cash out pronto, because she knows with her habits she's going to gain at least 10 lbs per year going forward, and she's already figured out that Pookie and Ray-ray aren't going to pay-pay for her used vajayjay.

And I guarantee she would not consider a man with roommates as an option, despite it 1:1 reflecting her living conditions. A man with cellmates though? Her legs will spread like someone just said open sesame.

What she says just reads like a lot of romantic platitudes at first. But look at it closer you see how impossible and contradictory her demands are.

Firstly, she wants a man who "challenges" her. She wants someone who can "keep up a conversation". i.e. she wants banter. She wants to be able to shittest him non-stop, which he effortlessly counters with wit and charm. Just like in every female-centered romance of the past several hundred years.

Okay, so she wants a man who can hold Frame and win her respect despite her constant bitchiness. A classic Alpha. A fuck-boy in other words. You don't get the ability to deal with shittesting by being a virgin milquetoast.

But wait, she says she doesn't want a fuck boy. She doesn't want to hook up. And she wants a man who will pay her way. i.e. a subservient Beta. So she wants the elusive Alpha-Beta. A man who perfectly embodies opposite male traits at the same time. She asks the impossible, and doesn't even realize it.

This is easy to break down. Let's give it a go, yes?

Waiting tables is hard work. It's totally second hardest job in the world (a mom being the most brutal and difficult, women have insisted). I jest. It's very physical and the hours are terrible, but by no means is it high-skilled.

Young female servers really have to struggle and endure the humiliation of forcing themselves to be objectified by voluntarily wearing tight clothes, showing off embarrassing, gaping cleavage, and being forced to sway their behinds to earn their tips. They do this to give themselves an advantage, and it's only effective for a few years. Pointing out that their actual job performance is mediocre at best is sexist.

They're not particularly personable and are extra friendly and attentive only when they bring you your check and the credit card machine. They will often ask so what are your plans tonight, leaned over with their breasts on the table, as you're trying to calculate the tip, to throw you off and score a generous tip. Once you've paid, all friendliness disappears and so do they.

Male servers on the other hand have to be friendly and give damn good service to earn decent tips. There is very little room for mistakes. Most men either move into management, higher end restaurants, or leave for better industries.

There is a consistent path for career waitresses.

When young and at peak attractiveness, waitresses work in the most trendy restaurants. Spots that only feature the best looking fares other than their food. Often establishments in which the girls can wear tight dresses and heels in some cases, and prance around and shake everything for appreciative customers. Skill and competency are not necessary.

Most of the younger ones are just okay at best. Most people won't notice because the entire staff pitches in, and managers pick up their slack, especially at the trendy and more upscale locations.

As the women hit their late 20s, they are forced out. The job, combined with free food and carefree living, ages them quickly, thus making them unsuitable for the establishments. Minimal competence and declining looks are not enough to help them keep their job, when there is a fresh crop of young, dumb, and hot fare available, eager to be trendy and pre-tinder , hoping to meet hot and possibly rich guys. I say young and dumb because making a career of waiting tables is not the best career path, most especially for women. Exceptions are family member-owned restaurants.

From late 20s to late 30s, female waitresses move to lower tier establishments such as pubs, Denny's, IHOP, family restaurants, etc. Here, the ladies really have to earn their keep. The pace is much, much faster and there is little tolerance for mistakes and incompetence. They are forced to learn to pretend they have personalities, as their looks become less able to carry them through.

Behind the fake smiles, you can see the seething anger, frustration, and despair in their eyes. They don't understand what went wrong. Perhaps the declining economy is why they're not making as much money as they used to. Slightly off-topic, I had a stripper in her 40s tell me this. She said the economy had been bad for almost 20 years, which was why she didn't make as much money as she used to. She had a nice body for her age, even after four children. She however, couldn't entice men and younger women around her with slightly less shapely bodies were doing just fine.

Back on topic, at this stage, the waitresses' looks decline extremely rapidly. They tend to start to gain weight as well. Long and unstructured schedules make it difficult stay fit. Cheap employee meals don't help matters. Those who have kids while waitressing speed into poverty almost instantaneously.

By late 30s/early 40s on, waitresses move on to truck stops, hole-in-the-wall establishments, and motel and hotel restaurants. This tier has a slower pace and is willing to take people with few options. Let's face it, given a choice, nobody would eagerly choose to work at these places. The women are Defeated by this point and have accepted their fate.

The woman in the OP still has a chance to lock down a beta, but her fury at all her past dongs will cause her to trip over her own feet. Unfortunately for her, she's watching her younger competitors get all the attention and adoration, and won't come to terms with reality until it's too late.

Source: I worked in restaurants for a few years and as such, understand the industry moderately well. Servers, I understand extremely well. I wouldn't recommend restaurants as a career path.
